Matthew has been working in the oil and gas industry since his graduation from Texas Tech University in 2005. He has honed his expertise in the business while working as a field landman and crew chief for multiple large oil and gas corporations across Texas and the surrounding areas. In 2013 Matthew started Mountain Laurel Minerals, LLC with the goal of assembling a portfolio of mineral and royalty interests in the Eagle Ford shale play located in South & East Texas. Since that time Mountain Laurel has grown its focus to all North American oil and gas plays while employing a team of skilled landmen and acquisition specialists with extensive experience in the field of mineral acquisitions, all of whom work with the goal of providing the strongest purchase offers in the industry. Matthew and his management team have nearly 40 years of combined oil and gas experience. He is a native of San Antonio, Texas, where he currently resides with his wife and son.
